Natalia is a registered psychologist with experience supporting children, adolescents, and families across educational and clinical settings. She is committed to creating a warm, compassionate, and safe therapeutic space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Having grown up in Colombia and with extensive experience working in early childhood education settings in Australia, Natalia brings a culturally responsive and inclusive lens to her work. She values understanding each child and family’s unique experiences and works collaboratively with caregivers and other professionals to support the development of skills that promote wellbeing, positive relationships, and learning.
Natalia works from a strengths-based, evidence-based approach, tailoring interventions to each client’s developmental stage and individual needs. Her therapeutic work draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and play- and creative-based approaches. She supports clients navigating challenges related to emotional regulation, anxiety, relationships, and life transitions.
Natalia also has experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and supporting clients’ understanding of learning differences and neurodivergence, including specific learning disorders, intellectual disability, and high abilities.
Outside of work, Natalia enjoys walking in nature, spending time with her loved ones and friends, and dancing.
