Mari is a registered Psychologist and holds a Master’s Degree in Educational and Developmental Psychology from Monash University. Mari has been working with children with learning, developmental and emotional needs in various settings such as schools, clinics, and home-based therapies in Australia, Singapore and Japan. Mari’s areas of interest include: psycho-educational assessments, learning difficulties, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, attention difficulties, positive behaviour support, play, and mindfulness.
Mari is passionate about supporting families, and strongly believes that parents are the best experts of their children. She enjoys learning from parents about each child, as well as working closely with them to facilitate the child’s development together.
Mari is also passionate about research on evidence-based intervention for young children, and has been involved in research projects on early intensive behaviour intervention (EIBI) for children with autism spectrum disorder and the use of mindfulness in classrooms.
