Jess is a Provisional Psychologist with a Master’s degree in Professional Psychology from Monash University. Jess is passionate about working with children and young people to support their mental health and wellbeing. She also values the importance of collaborating with parents and families to empower them to support their child’s emotional, social and behavioural needs.
Jess is experienced in supporting young people, including those diagnosed with Autism, and working in a multidisciplinary team focusing on the benefits of combining exercise and cognitive strategies. She has a background of working with children in counselling and evidence-based interventions in both individual and group settings.
Jess employs a client centred approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to the individual’s needs with a commitment to evidence based practices.
Interests include early intervention, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Anxiety, social skills, behaviour management, self-esteem, emotional regulation, mindfulness and cognitive assessments.
