Ashley is a registered psychologist who completed a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology at Monash University. Ashley has a strong interest in working with children of various abilities to help them reach their full potential. Ashley incorporates a client-centered and strengths-based approach that aims to empower individuals to draw upon their unique strengths and abilities. Ashley has had intervention experience working with children, adolescents, and their families and has drawn upon cognitive behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and mindfulness approaches. Additionally, Ashley has conducted various psychological assessments with children and adolescents for specific learning disorders, giftedness, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Ashley utilises a holistic approach that involves working with other health professionals to help promote better outcomes. Ashley adopts various evidence-based styles and interventions that focus on the primary needs of the child and family.
