Andrea is a registered psychologist who works with children and adolescents aged 4-18 years and their families. She holds a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology from Monash University and has experience in hospital, community, and private settings.
She is committed to creating a warm, compassionate space where young people feel safe, heard, and supported, and where families feel empowered to understand and respond to their child’s needs. Andrea takes a strengths-based, evidence-informed approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), play therapy, and trauma-informed care. She tailors her work to each young person and values collaboration with families, schools, and external individuals working in the team around the young person, to support meaningful outcomes.
Andrea also has experience conducting cognitive, educational, and developmental assessments. She has a particular interest in developmental processes, learning differences, and neurodivergence, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and specific learning disorders. She is passionate about helping families and schools make sense of assessment findings and translating them into clear, practical strategies that support learning and wellbeing.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring art and craft, reading, and playing music.
