Cassie is an extremely passionate Occupational Therapist who specialises in working with children and adolescents.
Cassie believes in advancing inclusion for children using a family centred, holistic approach to ensure children and their families have optimal quality of life.
For a number of years, Cassie has worked with people with Down Syndrome at e.motion21 as a dance teacher, a not for profit organisation providing tailored and evidence based dance programs.
Cassie has also worked extensively with children with Cerebral Palsy and Autism Spectrum Disorder, focusing on leisure activities, community engagement and capacity building.
Cassie has experience providing occupational therapy intervention in school readiness, emotional regulation, handwriting, social skills, self-care skills, gross and fine motor skills. All while utilising a play based approach with a strong focus on having fun.
