Here is a list of the various assessments we currently provide. When referred for an assessment you will have an intake session with the relevant clinician to ensure that the assessment is appropriate for your child’s needs, and to determine the cost of the complete assessment process.

ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview Revised)
A diagnostic assessment for autism.

ADOS (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule)
Diagnostic assessment for social and communication aspects of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Clinician interacts directly with the child.

BASC 2 (Behavior Assessment System for Children)
Evaluation of behaviours and emotions of children and adolescents.

Bayley 2 (Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development)
Examines the facets of a young child’s development.

BOT 2 (Bruininks-Oseretsky Test of Motor Proficiency)
Assesses the gross and fine motor proficiency of 4-21 year olds, ranging from those who are typically developing to those with moderate motor-skill deficits.

BUS (Bus Story Test)
The age level of consecutive speech used in retelling a story can be assessed from the information content, sentence length and grammatical usage with this test.

CARS 2 (Childhood Autism Rating Scale)
Rating questionnaire based on parent report and observations of child by clinician.

CBCL (Children’s Behaviour Checklist)
Evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment response of children with ADHD and co-occurring conditions.

CCC 2 (The Children’s Communication Checklist)
Screens for children who are likely to have language impairment, to identify pragmatic impairment in children with communication problems, and assist in identifying children who may merit from further assessment for an autism spectrum disorder.

CELF 4 (Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals)
Used to identify and diagnose language disorders.

Connors 3 (Connors 3rd edition)
Assessment of ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder and Conduct Disorder. Questionnaire for parents and teachers.

Dyspraxia (Dyspraxia Assessment)
An assessment of the ability to make and coordinate the precise movements used in spoken language.

ENQ (ENQ Report)
Report written to support an application for the Program for Students with Disabilities, that addresses relevant criteria of the Educational Needs Questionnaire.

Fluency (Fluency Assessment)
Evaluation of a child’s fluency.

MacArthur (MacArthur-Bates Screening)
The MacArthur-Bates screening is used to assess language and communication skills.

PLS 5 (Preschool Language Scales)
An interactive assessment of developmental language skills.

RAPT (Renfrew Action Picture Tests)
To assess the age levels of the information content and the grammatical usage from short sentence answers to specified questions.

SP 2 (Sensory Profile 2)
Standardised tools to help evaluate a child’s sensory processing patterns in the context of everyday life.

SRS 2 (Social Responsiveness Scale)
Assists in identifying social difficulties associated with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

SPAT (Sutherland Phonological Awareness Test)
A comprehensive standardised test that provides an overview of the phonological awareness skills required for early literacy development.

Cognitive assessment measuring verbal and non-verbal reasoning skills, working memory and information processing.
